I ended up keeping the Annemarie style in black. I have another pair of the brown Annemarie on order (the right one was too big for my foot) so I may keep it in brown if it fits (I often like to duplicate my boots in brown and black). Even though the heel is a touch higher than I wanted (1.75 inch, I was aiming for 1.5 inches or less), they are pretty comfy and a lot lower than my Mia booties. So I think it was worth it! I like the buckle detail too, which was lacking in the Nine West Sosies. DH liked these ones over the Nine West ones (which he said had too chunky of a heel) so I kept the Rieker.</p> <p>Mirp, I hope you like the skirt. Which color did you get? I actually have both colors! Found some boots on Zappos made by Rieker and ordered four pairs (two styles--Annemarie and Annegret--and two colors each). I was planning on getting one black and one brown pair, but I kind of prefer the graphite version of the Annegret over the brown ones. So I'm wondering if I should keep both the black and graphite (which is brownish enough that it might work with my brown outfits), or stick with one of the brown versions. And is the black one too similar to the one I already have? The heel is definitely lower, but not exactly flat (1.75 inches, vs. 2.75 on the Mia Nanette that I have). The Annegret is 1.5 inches and does feel lower than the Annemarie so it's a little more comfy. I asked DH and DD and they prefer the Annemarie because they didn't like the slouchy wrinkled look of the Annegret. DH said it looks like the boot melted onto my foot. LOL.</p> <p>Which of these four do you like the best (or should I keep looking)? If I kept more than one, it would likely be the black Annemarie, plus one of the other three (graphite or brown). Although the graphite could go with some of my black outfits, I think I'd still want a true black pair as well. Of note, the two brown ones have some defects (one of the shoes is slightly larger than the other on the Annemarie, and the Annegret has glue stuck to the front of one boot) so I'd have to exchange the brown ones if I kept them.</p> <p>Thanks so much for your help!</p> <p>1.
