Yay! I have never regretted the decision to return something. (But I've often regretted not bothering to return things.)

Final verdict: I returned both pairs of cords this morning. I just couldn't shake the feeling that the low-rise would drive me crazy.

I found a pair of red jeans at Kohl's that are perfect! I wish they were a darker red, but I'll take any red I can find. The rise is great and they are a slim straight style. I can't find them online, but they are the Chaps Madden Straight. I also found the rest of my fall wishlist items. Just a few returns left, then I'm done with fall. Doing the happy dance!

Cords never seem to be sharp looking after washing. If you decide to keep them for anything besides casual weekends, you may want to dry clean them. Just something to consider. I'd hold out for the right pair in twill or denim.

I've been wearing them for a while and they are very comfy. I realized I'd pulled up the front too high, which stole some of the rise from the back. Oops! I have a long t-shirt tucked in and when I sit and stand back up, everything seems to be staying in place.

They are so comfy and a great color. I don't mind having to tuck a t-shirt in when I wear them. Skinnies are always tricky for me when I try to tuck them into my boots (too bunchy/loose) but these look great with my mid and tall boots. Oh! And they don't give me muffin top! I don't know how they don't, since they sit so low, but I'm thankful!

Hmmm. That sounds super annoying. They look really good, but will you wear them? I would definitely not keep both pairs with that annoying feature. Can you wear one pair around the house for a few hours with the tags on, until you decide whether they feel comfortable?

I often have this problem with pants, even though I'm short.

A belt wouldn't help. They don't even go halfway up my backside when I sit.

Oh...rises are the bane of my life. So frustrating.

I agree that otherwise these fit much better than the raisin pair and look good. If you can bear it and the price is right, why not try one pair out and see how you fare? you may discover that you don't mind so much wearing a cami, etc.

I think I would wear both pairs a lot. They tuck nicely into both my taller and shorter boots. I'm wondering if the low rise will get to me, though. Based on my sitting test, I'll always have to wear a long cami tucked in or a long sweater or something like that. Not something I can get tailored, right?

These ones fit much better and the color is really nice.
Is this a silhouette you want to wear often? If so you do have space for two of these in your life.If not, just let the browns go.

I like the fit much better on you (compared to your previous post) and the color is really saying "Fall" too me If you have a capsule/companions for the brown then no harm in keeping both as long as you can wear them.

I'm returning those raisin pants I posted about a few days ago. Today at TJMaxx, I found Seven7 skinny cords in dark red. Definitely more red than the purple-y raisin pants, but I like them. How do they look? They have a very low rise, so I'll have to make sure to wear long tops with them. The cardigan and purple jacket are new, too. As are the same cords in brown (should I keep only one color?)

I wouldn't really wear the red top with the red pants, but it is the only flowy top I have right now and wanted to see how it looked.

Thanks for any feedback!!
