I tried on every pair o white jeans in my size (4 pairs) today. They all fit differently. I think they cut too many layers of fabric at once, and the stitching is often inconsistent.</p> <p>A quality ponte is a real 4-season fabric. This could be worn with all kinds of jacket, and can likely be layered under if the necklines are complimentary. This kind of dress screams 'versatility' to me and *anything* you can think of can be done with such dress.</p> <p>Button-downs, turtlenecks, teeshirts... scarves, necklaces, belts or no belts, brooches... jackets over... patterned hose... boots or shoes with all sorts of heels. I haven't worn dresses this winter much and have reinstalled my laptop so all photos are still on the external drive and I can't access them for some ideas, but those few things pop to mind immediately.</p> <p>I like this one and unless there is something about the fit that I can't see but is bothering you (placement of the zipper, itchy size tag?) or if Angie says 'no', then return it. This one is more like a skater dress and has a bit of twirl. The mint one reminds of a southern dress, for some reason. a nice solid cotton with length and a bit of flare. This one fits, the violet one was too big. So much for consistency!</p> <p>Not a wrap dress! A good, solid ponte knit fabric though. Love your thoughts on fit and flattery. It was about 1/4 of what I normally pay for a dress, so while it might be a good deal dollar wise, it still has to look great. </p>
