Jenn, thank you for sharing these! '

#1 I agree it's the wrong cut in the wrong fabric. Cut or fabric might work if not combined.

#2 SUPER flattering on you. I would simply hem a bit for a smoother leg line and you are good to go!

Love the whole outfit, by the way -- great shoes.

#3 I really like the jacket but it seems as if it might be snug?

#4 Dress looks lovely. Really fab style for you and a good closet constant. I rarely wear my navy conservative sheath dress, but wow am I happy to have it when I need it.

I also agree with Angie. The jeans look great but that dress steals the show!

Thank you Fabbers for your comments...The comments are pretty consistent so the khakis are going back and I will play round with the jeans.

Angie thank you for noticing my mulberry monk shoes - they make my heart flutter! I am sure I can make them as 'practical' as a black pair.

I will start a new post about my next stage of organising. I have a work trip coming up and corporate gear is under control but you just saw the 'best' of my casual/smart casual. This wardrobing is a never ending story.

Have funxxx

I echo exactly what Angie said.
The dress is killer. I think the whole outfit in #2 is lovely (jewelry, scarf, pants, top, and shoes all coordinate well and are nice colours :))
The pants in #2 need to be drapier to look good.

I love the jeans on you! I didn't notice the length until I read Deborah's comment, but you might roll them to the ankle or just above with those shoes and see if you like the effect. I kind of like having extra length on my skinnies, to roll or not, depending on what I'm wearing with them.
I also love the dress--gorgeous! It is so flattering on you.
The pants in #1 do not wow me at all. I think Angie's point is excellent--a drapier fabric would be much better in that silhouette.
A big thumbs up on the jacket, though I do see what others are getting at about a slight tightness at the upper chest. May be the pose, though.

STUNNING dress. Wow. Killer.

Jeans look great. Cute shoes too.

I vote return the trousers. Too much volume in that type of fabric. Does not drape.

I love the idea of the jacket bit it's a little snug fastened up. Do you also get that impression, or is it the way you're standing in the photo perhaps, Jen?

Agree you look great in the dress, the jeans and the jacket. Will you be wearing the jacket closed or open most of the time? I think this length often looks better open. The slight pulling across the top button may be in part the way you are holding your arm back.

Agreeing with the others. I vote to return the pants in #1 but the rest look fine, from what I can tell. My favorite piece is the jacket. It looks like it would work well with the dress in #4 and the pants in #2.

The dress looks beautiful on you. It's very flattering. Keep it!

I think the pants in 1 may be too wide for you.

Pants in 2 look great, but if you wanted a smoother line, a small hem would work.

Loving the dress!

Outfit in 2 looks good.

Jacket is lovely but does it pull a bit at the chest?

Not loving th green pants. Looks like a lot of fabric and seems to swamp your body?

Hi Jen:)

#1 I don't mind them but I wonder if they are too wide in the leg overall. What footwear would you be wearing? I think that something similar with with a slimmer leg line might look more up to date?

#2 Jeans/Leggings look good. I wonder if just taking them up a tiny bit might help create a smoother leg line?

#3 I missed your post last week but I like the jacket. Tones are very flattering and the fit looks good I think.

#4 The dress is beautiful on you. I can't make an assessment on the fabric but the colour and cut are so attractive. It would be a beautiful work dress:)

I would value your opinion on some of these items...
khakis?
jeans/leggings? The knee action is the same effect as the NYDJ jeans even though they flare from the kbee down... should I just leave them?
The jacket I posted last week?
A body con dress which I don't wear almost ever but it should be ok for work... I am not sure if the fabric is too cheap or its too body con?

Thank you for your thoughts and advice...
