Here's one pair of boots that arrived today.&nbsp;</p> <p>Yes, there are two pairs in pic #1, but I've already eliminated those as too rugged and not different enough from my other black boots.&nbsp;</p> <p>I am still considering the brown ones: Vintage Shoe Company Veronicas - an amazing deal. The photos do. not. communicate. the awesomeness of the scaly/moss-encrusted texture or the olive-y brown color. They are very comfy and both more lightweight and more refined than my other mid-calf boots, which have stompy lug soles. They also bookend my taupe blazer nicely.</p> <p>What do you think? Do these have a place in my work capsule? Or am I looking for ways to justify my love for something unnecessary? </p>
