Thanks, all! I'm sold, lol. I reviewed my tops again, and identified at least one additional top that is a sure thing. And then I actually tried them on, and they were absurdly too small. That thing with Loft's denim sizing from last year, where it was all crazy big and I had to really size way, way, way down? Turns out they fixed that.

I had some similar jeans fromKaren Millen a few years back and I loved them! I wore them as white jeans, and they went with everything.

I like the white top with them, but black or silver would work. To make outfits with jeans like these, I would want something for hot weather, transitional weather, and for cool weather. That could be a sleeveless top that could be layered under a jacket like a white jean jacket or a moto jacket, a long sleeved shirt, and a light pullover linen sweater, plus footwear for each season. Pattern mixing could be fun.

Beautiful pants. Besides the plum, burgundy and white, what about pink? Any shade. I also second the teals and blues, and I would try red. They seem versatile. How fun!

I think all earth tones would look really great - olive, gold, chestnut, pumpkin, etc.

I like them, and I think they'd go with lots of colors. Honestly, just think of them as a solid.

Good question, SarahD8. Once a week would be great. I just wouldn't want to replicate the *exact* outfit each week.

I thought of a slate gray top I have that might also work, as it also has something of a violet undertone--that gives me three possibles right now.

I think plum and burgundy would be great with those jeans. And of course white (for a pale, restful look) and black (more edgy). Not sure what “your” colors are so not sure what else to suggest. Try them with cobalt and teal too? Honestly I’d probably just at least do a try on with anything you wear with white jeans!

Re: number of go-withs: ideally, 5. But I think 3 is acceptable, esp if you are willing to wear those outfits multiple times, and the item itself lends a strong sense of variety (as I think these would). How often do you want to wear them this summer?

My summer uniform for work and play is white jeans and a cute top. For work, dressier, probably with heels, add a necklace. Most everything I have is a solid. I guess textures are my prints.

I thought these white jeans were cute, and a little different than just solid white. But now that they are in my house being considered, I'm just not sure what color tops to put with them. I have a plum tee and a burgundy tank that would look nice, but what else? And, what is everyone's threshold number of "go withs" to feel good about an addition, like these pants? I don't look good in earth tones or pastels. The actual colors that make up the python pattern are sort of a greyed purple and a milky tea color on white, and the overall effect is more of a soft white than a bright white.
