Ooh, love the color so much!

Agree with the consensus about #1. Try rolling/scrunching the sleeve up too -- nice for showing off a pretty blouse sleeve or bracelet. I don't know why, but showing a little forearm helps the look of a lot of outfits.

I almost never button my denim jackets up, or when I do, it's just a couple of buttons with a scarf over to keep the chill out. I hear you about that darn bottom button. I have the same issue as CocoLion even though I'm 5'7"! All legs, little torso, sigh.

I am so liking this on you better than the green blazer style. Someone else may have to figure out why. It looks much more happy. The blazer seemed to bring you down somehow--too plain and mannish somehow. You look much spunkier in this.
It looks great!

I am about 5'5.5" Yes, I am counting that extra 0.5 inch! I am starting to wonder about ordering petite tops. When I tried them in knits, everyone liked them much better.

I had always thought I had short legs, and since joining YLF, I learned, no, I do not have short legs. I was just wearing my pants more than a little too short!

I prefer the smaller fit and agree with everyone else on the color!

I am wondering, are you on the petite side? Or at least, under 5'7"? I have a common problem of jackets not buttoning at the bottom (or if it's a low stance jacket with one button, it pulls). I have realized it is because I am short (5'3.5") and have a short torso. If I had a normal length torso, the button/s would hit higher and therefore I could button them without any pulling. So... have you tried a petite jacket? Your build looks similar to mine -- shorter torso, longer legs, hourglass/pear type shape.

I think the fit on 3 and 4 is better. It's more structured and looks more comfortable too. This is a fantastic little denim jacket you have gotten there. It looks very flattering on you, and I would keep it. I agree that what you are wearing goes really well with it. If you find the sleeve too long or too wide to scrunch, have it altered, it's an easy and cheap alteration.

I like 1 unbuttoned. I like that 2 can button, but the extra fabric makes it look really casual, versus the more fitted 1. So, of them, I would keep 1. However... have you considered a more cropped length denim? I have a regular denim coat, but last year bought a cropped one from American Eagle. I was surprised how different they can look layered over an outfit. A cropped length might let you have a fitted one that buttons all the way. Or it may not work at all. I have no idea. I don't think I've ever seen you in anything cropped!

I like picture 1. It shows more of your wrist which you can put on a bracelet to make the color of the jacket pop! Unbuttoned though. The shirt you're wearing goes really well with it.

Angie gave me a gentle nudge to look into a denim jacket, and I did. I definately like the additional structure denim gives. I selected a green denim as a nod to colored denim as well as green denim could be worn any day of the week at work while blue is only allowed on Fridays. Odd, I know, but there it is!

Pics 1&2 are one size. I think it looks good unbuttoned but I can't button the bottom button over my hips and the second to last button pulls. I could not wear this jacket buttoned, basically.

Pics 2&3 are the next size up. I am not sure it fits as well through the shoulders, but it does button completely.

I know we sometimes say jackets don't need to button up and should be worn unbuttoned, so I am looking to see which one, if either, you lovely ladies think I should keep or if I should return them both!
