I did quite a bit of walking around a shopping area in mine recently, and don't know why I hadn't noticed this before, but it began to be uncomfortable and afterwards I noticed a red mark. I think maybe the socks were a bit shorter than usual so the boot was hitting skin not sock. But heres the catch, from experience, when you walk they may rub on your ankles if too loose. From photos it looks like black has silver and gold, and white is hard to tell but may be gold and silver.</p> <p>They are not dainty at the ankle. I have what I think is averages ankle - measures about 8.25" around. I love that they are pointy yet wide enough and the navy/silver.</p> <p>Fit report - roomy in my typical boot with med socks size of 7W. While Naturalizer says their W is a C, this feels D. I have room for my 3/4 orthotic on top of the non-removable insole, as well a a thin cushion layer. This is a 7W - I think a 6.5W might be a tad short in length if I want to wear thicker socks, but maybe I will try the 6.5W to compare. They are quite comfortable.</p> <p>Do I have the flower pot problem? If keep, how to I style them? Will they look alright with dark wash jeans? The color is darker blue than most of my jeans.
