MandipaM - taking your advice and ordered a size up. It feels fine, but once you pointed it out, the buttons do look to be pulling. Once they get here, I will post for comparison.

I think I like the second one best for skirts. The first and last seem best suited to pants, being a bit longer.

I'm curious what a size up would look like in the last --- the buttons seem just a tad snug perhaps... I'm not sure if it's just the light catching the edge...?

I second Marley --- navy is great with black!

Have you tired any jackets that are cut lower in the front? - so that the top button hits you right under your bust-line? In my mind, the jacket would then be more flattering to your figure - in that it would be drawing the eye to a narrow part of your torso and show off your amazing curves. Of the jackets that are pictured above - I think the 3rd one looks like it fits you the best, but I'd still like to see one that is like what I described above!
The shirt is great - I envy you that you can wear turtlenecks!
P.S. - you can wear that navy jacket with black pants/skirts/tops, etc. - navy and black are a great combo!

I will certainly try it!

Here is the jacket.

http://www.talbots.com/online/.....e=cat90030

And yes, DH is really wonderful. He is great with our DD and so supportive. He always likes whatever I try on, and he always says he likes whatever I wear. Love makes him blind Although he is a HUGE fan of the wrap tops. He says he likes seeing me in skirts, but he understand how cold it is and how uncomfortable they can be. Still, he is a supporter of me trying to find a way to make dresses and skirts work.

I like all of the jackets -- the fit on each of them looks fine.

I do have a suggestion for you to try -- scary as this may sound, try tucking your tops in to the skirt when your jacket is closed . I feel like the colored tops peeking out from under the jacket's hem break up the sleek line of the suit when the jackets are buttoned up. (please don't shoot me if you hate the look

When your jackets are open untucked looks great.

So... when did you get magic super powers? Because seriously you are on a major roll finding great items. It can be hard to tell with dark jackets, but from what I can see each of these looks great on you. Super. Powers.

Okay, last of the keep returns, promise! It's just you ladies are SO much more helpful than DH who dutifully loves everything I bring home!

#1. Black jacket with a bit of velvet at the collar.
#2. Striped shirt with no wool in it! I have been envious of all the lovely striped tops, but I can't wear wool. I thought this might be a contender to go under these black jackets.
#3&4 - Basic, no frills year round weight black jacket.
#4&5 - Basic, no frills year round weight dark navy jacket. It is hard to tell it is not black in person it is so dark. Not really sure how to wear this as so much of what I have for bottoms is balck and only one navy piece that is not this dark.

I appreciate all of your help, and I look forward to the feedback!
