These are both nice. As I was reading through all the comments, I was thinking that the nude ones are something *I* would wear so you might want to run screaming the other way, lol! The grey ones seem more Diana (young and hip) to me, and I could see you getting more wear out of them after wedding season. Both are fab shoes though!

The fit is much better now that my feet are not swollen, Angie! I think the grey ones may need a potato just on the bunion foot because of where the top hits, but honestly they are wearable without. I don't plan on walking much in either of these anyway.

ETA: I don't have a potato that's flat enough to fit in the front of the shoe! Using a big wad of paper instead...

And how are the feet this morning? Do you need to give the shoes some potato action?

Thanks, ladies. Both of these seem to be getting much more love than the puckery ones. I am considering keeping both of them now. I figure the nudes are more hotel reception wedding, whereas the grey are more garden party wedding. And it just so happens that I have one of each to go to this summer. Plus, I think the grey will work into fall as well.

I do want to wait until tomorrow morning when my feet are not swollen from walking around all day in the heat to try them on again to see if the tightness at the front is just due to swollen feet. Otherwise, these shoes will be getting friendly with some potatoes! *waving to Shannon*.

I really like the nude ones--they will be a classic workhorse for you for a long time. The grey ones, though. Ohhhh they are lovely! I know from personal heartbreak, though, that a favorite pair of Naturalizer N5s is only destined to last one year. Or maybe that's just me and how intensely I wear my favorite pairs!

What Angie said! I really love those nude peep-toes, and quite like the patent back. The gray look cute, and certainly more casual with the wooden heel but they also seem retro looking to me (not super edgy).

Oh my goodness! I am the odd one out. I prefer the Nude Etienne Aigner peep-toe slingbacks by quite a bit. Retro!

But I love the Naturalizers too (although I do not find them edgier - just more casual).

I think the Naturalizers look more compatible with your style. Wood hell isn't dressy for formal but would work in most other situations.

My wood heel story is from my Senior Prom - I had a dusty mauve long dress - pretty sleek and unembellished for my day - and wanted gray shoes. Only heels I could find had a wood heel. My aunts and grandmother were scandalized that my mother would let me wear them for formal wear. I wore those shoes for quite a few years after prom and never wore the dress again Things have changed since 1984.

These are both good options Diana. I actually like the mix of patent leather/regular leather - makes the shoes more interesting. They are also a nice nude for our skin tone.

Love the colour of the Naturalizers and I really like wooden heels for summer. I don't think it makes them too casual. I wonder a wee bit about the fit on them though - they look like the toe box might be just a wee bit short?

Which ones are more comfortable?

The puckering peep-toes from last week got sent back, and here are a couple more options that have just arrived.

Nude Etienne Aigner peep-toe slingbacks: These are regular leather in the front and patent in the slingback part. Is that weird? What do you think of the style for me? A lot of you thought the puckering nude shoes were too conservative/classic for me, but are these any better?

Grey Naturalizer slingbacks: I like the slightly edgier style but are they too casual with the wooden heel? The color is a purplish-tinged grey, but will be neutral with everything I need it to go with.

So what do you think? I could keep none, one, or both since they were both quite reasonably priced. I don't really need two pairs of summer dressy shoes though. Just as a reminder, these would be for the summer wedding capsule, basically. Bonus if they work with professional interview-type looks but not necessary since I have black shoes that will be fine for that. Both pairs fit decently and don't fall off my feet, although both are slightly tight in front. If you think either are worth keeping, I will definitely try to stretch them.
