My husband nagged me for six months to start speaking to our newborn daughter in all my languages (not at the same time! :P). I finally did start, and later we learned a fourth language together. Today (age 20) she's not fluent in any but English, but her accent is perfect in all. But it seems that I will have to re prioritize, I have found some other wardrobe holes that seem more pressing. </p> <p>Jenni NZ - I never return things that I buy in brick and mortar stores. I don’t think it is done often here also, it is not possible to return sale items, and you can only get store credit. I did it once and it was terrible experience. I bought a navy sweater in a store and when I brought it home I realized that it is a wrong shade of navy and that it doesn’t go with other things that I planned to wear it with. I brought it back to store the next day with the receipt and tags still on. And at first they did not want to accept the return. When I insisted, the sale assistant gave it a sniff test and inspected it meticulously. I was mortified. She finally agreed but with the rude attitude and gave me only the store credit. I never set the foot in the store again and was happy when it closed few years later. I prefer online shopping and really go to brick and mortar stores. Selection and prices are better and you can try it in the comfort of your home and return it without humiliation.<br /> Regarding my weight, well, it did not go up and down, only up until recently. It started going up about 10 years ago when I got pregnant at 38 with 2nd baby. I never bounced back after the pregnancy. And then about 5 years ago I developed health issues, some weird syndromes and alergies and was treated with steroids. My weight went up again. I did try dieting but nothing was working, after starving my self I would be able to lose few kg which I would immediately gain back as soon as I stopped starving. I barely shop online, and in NZ it is not much done ( I think) to return to bricks and mortar stores. Or if you do ( because you are allowed if it is a full-price item, not if it is a sale item) than I think it would be expected you do it quite quickly. So I try to really take my time in the store, use the power pause, take my lists of clothing with me and check them. Often I will leave it there and go back a few days later if it plays on my mind. If it has then gone, I take a philosophical approach that it wasn't meant for me. All of these strategies have helped me slow my purchasing rate since I started my first shopping fast last November 2016.<br /> I think it sounds a really good idea to leave it hanging in the closet a bit and see how you feel about it, and try it with things. That is easier than doing it all in your head like I try to!<br /> I am happy for you that you have found quite a few items at good prices. I don't understand why your weight has gone up and down so much over the years. Mine only seems to go one way ( up) without having changed much, even when I try to watch portion sizes and such. I still haven't accepted it that well after being slim right up to age 35 after 3rd baby, with little effort. Is that ribbing, or stitching in the upper arms? And a zipper at the cuff? It looks like it has such nice details and fits well.
