However I am with Suz here. I would think the jump is too far to be 100% comfortable. The problem being the combination of absolute flat + wide ankle strap. Either one on their own would work. But together it is too much. I know, I have very similar features to yours. And I am also sensitive to the stumpifying factor. I know that I would feel uncomfortable in those. They cut the leg length too much visually. An alternative is therefore to wear very short things with it: tunic dress, mini skirt, short shorts... and I know this is not your style. </p> <p>So unlike everyone else here, I vote Nay. </p> <p>The dress is awesome though! OK, so I've loved these Miz Mooz sandals ever since Jonesy first posted them, but ankle straps on someone 5'1" are very different than they are on someone 5'11". But then they went on sale at endless, so I'm trying them in yellow to see if they are low enough contrast that I can get away with it.</p> <p>I probably would only wear them with bermudas and clams, not with this midi dress, which adds to the leg shortening effect (but it's too hot to be changing clothes).</p> <p>Yay - they are a great, neutral flat sandal</p> <p>Nay - the stumpifying factor is Way Too Strong </p>
