Thanks guys for confirming my initial reaction. Disappointing collection! You are right though, it's not up to my usual standards. Well, I have a few more things coming in next week but after I get those I think it's all going to go back. I was thinking about keeping the shorts since I need some non-maternity shorts and they fit, but I don't know if I need navy colored ones. Denise, I'll PM you about the size L cat tee. Anyone else want anything before I head back to Target to return everything?

I agree with lyn. Shame on Jason Wu. The clothes don't do you justice, and the fit/quality/finish looks subpar. Send it back. You are beautiful, you have style, and deserve better.

Thanks for posting these!

The black dress is my favorite, and I think that the navy polka dot top in 11-12 could be cute when styled properly. But neither one is a must have.

Why is the fit so weird? I can understand that at that price point the fabric quality isn't going to be amazing, but there's no excuse for such weird fit.

Not happy with any of it, although I like the blue dress belted. I'm sorry this was a disappointing collection, Natalie! I haven't even bothered to check it out as nothing looked to be my style. You might as well go to F21 and get the rip-offs if the quality is that bad...

My favorite on you is the black dress. With proper pressing it would look nice and doesn't look too cheap to my eye.

I also like dress #1 worn belted and the red shirt, but I like things oversized.

The striped dress looks very cheaply constructed to me.

I like the cat tee a lot, I usually wear things oversized so I may be interested in the size L. How much was it? I would probably only wear it as loungewear as the cat print is too young for me to wear in public.

Of all of them, I like the black dress and the red shell/navy shorts best. But sine you are not sold on most of it, I say it goes back. Why keep substandard items?

Some of these designs are kinda cute, but if the fabric is inferior, I wouldn't mess with them. I like the black dress the best, but would like it a lot more if it hit you just below the knee. My eye has adjusted to midis, and while I would still wear shorter dresses, I wouldn't buy any more ot them personally. The bag is cute, but if it feels cheap why keep it? You have so many better ones. Your closet is way too fab to introduce any mutant strains of meh!

I see what you mean about #1. Do you have any other belts you could try it with?

The bicycle dress is cute, but doesn't measure up to your level of style.

I like the black dress, but if you already have several of those, then I see no point in keeping it.

I had the same issue with the polka dot blouse. I couldn't fasten the band on the bottom of the sleeves. When I returned the XS I saw a S on the rack, but decided not to try it on since I don't really have anything to wear it with.

My favorite of this bunch is the red shell. I think you could get away with a M, but the small would probably be a perfect fit.

I like the dress on #7. I'm not sure about the rest, only because I saw most of the items in person ( My local target had most of the collection available in L and XL sizes) and I know the quality is not great. The fabrics are too flimsy and weightless, so the clothes don't drape SMH...

Can I be awfully honest? I don't think most of these should get space in your closet!

The stripe dress, yes, looks good belted to me.

I actually like the blue blouse and the fit looks okay from here --- but you're the one wearing it, so if you say it's too loose, it must be!

The grey T... well, why do you want to keep it, exactly? Are you sorta-kinda desperate for layering Ts? I've seen nicer ones with real actual lace (well, at Marks & Spencer, but if you don't have that there, I'm sure other high-street retailers must be doing similar styles this year?) for what I suspect will be a lower cost. It's not bad, of course --- just that I think you might be able to do better.

The blue dress and red cardigan are outrageous! Out!

I think maybe the shorts and bag might be okay to hang on to --- at least they look versatile. But while you could certainly wear it, I'm not sure even the red shell is all that much. (Just saying because I've seen you look so much nicer in other clothes! Not that it's looking too ill-fitting or anything.)

And I'm afraid, yes, pussy's a bit too fluffed up on you!

White bicycle dress... well, you might be able to make more of it with the right accessories. A bright belt and maybe cropped tights? But the black is... well, just not stunning enough.

Sorry if that sounded like too much of a downer! Wishing you goodies in the next batch!

I ordered a bunch of Jason Wu for Target stuff online and lots of things arrived today. However I am a little disappointed in the quality and fit of these items. They seem to run large and fabric is rather thin and hemlines rather short. Not sure if any of these are worth keeping? I'll post them all though in case people are wondering how they look on non-models. (I am 5'5" and normally size 4-6). Would love to get your objective and honest feedback! I am not super attached to anything, so if it's not fab, I can return some or all! And I still have a few things coming next week, like the navy sheer top/floral skirt combo, navy poplin dress, a size M cat tee and a couple of tops. So I may have alternatives for some of the ones posted below.

I have most of these items in sizes S and M (except 5, 7, 16, 19) so let me know if you're interested in anything before I return the lot to Target.

1-2. Navy floral dress with yellow belt, size S. It looks OK belted but holy cow is it huge without the belt! I look 10 months pregnant! Very weird!
3-4. Black and white bicycle wheels dress, size S. Is this a little short on me?
5-6. Navy and red jersey stripe dress, size S. Is this better belted or plain? (using WHBM blue belt)
7-10. Black dress with lace trim at the bottom w/ pink belt, size 6. This feels a bit short to me. I think I'm probably going to return this one esp. since i have a couple other black dresses already.
11-12. Navy polka dot tie-neck blouse, size M. The arms on the size S were too tight (mainly the band at the bottom of the sleeve) and I could barely move my arms. But M feels too baggy so I think I'll pass.
13. Grey lace print tee, size S. I think it looks OK so I may keep it as a layering tee under cardigans.
14-18. Red shell, size M and navy shorts size 6 and straw purse. Unfortunately the size S was sold out. The M is a little bit loose but wondering if I can get away with it (I don't really want to pay eBay premium prices). I like the shorts and they fit, so I'll keep those (not that they look like anything special though on their own). I think I'm keeping the purse.
15. Red pointelle cardigan, size S. Ugh, this looks huuuge. And it's paper thin. Back to the rack.
19-20. Cat tee, size L. This was all that was available then, but I've since found a M on the website and that is on the way. Does the baggy T shirt look work on me?

Thanks so much for your help!
