I really like the toggle jacket! I don't think it will go out of style. It looks great with the dress!

The bomber is good too!
The new black jacket looks like an improvement to.me--nice fit, simple--I think it should last awhile.. You look really good in the bombers, so if you're still happy there, having kind of a dupe but in the different color seems like a good deal. You may find you can create some different looks with that color.
Bumping... really need some feedback on the black jacket. I tried to get a picture of the toggle detail. And what do people think about the lapels? Will this go out of style soon?

Thanks, Kelly. I have noticed that the puff sleeve seems to be a bit of a no-no around here.

Love the stripey sweater. The new blazer looks great to me. It looks more current than the puffed sleeve blazer you show in 4. It looks like a ponte of some sort--I definitely think it's dressy enough to wear for an evening out. The length looks good for dresses too. The new bomber is fun. I like the old one too--it looks kind of cheeky and fun. I bet that one would look cute over dresses too.

I hadn't thought of that, Karie? Is that something I would do myself? I'm not so handy.
I like both tops, and I think the jacket would look nice over dresses. As for your older jacket that is faded, have you tried dying it? I would definitely keep the bomber jacket in #6, the fit looks fantastic.

What do you think about these items? I currently have kind of a glut of bottoms and not enough tops, which is weird because I have trouble fitting bottoms, but I guess I've been overcompensating.

1. Press cashmere/cotton blend knit top in fuschia and cream
2-3. Black toggle button jacket. (sidenote: kinda wish I hadn't bought this shirt even though it was on sale, because the neckline doesn't lay right. oh well, too late.) Do you think this jacket could be worn over dresses? How fancy? I would like a blazer I could wear over nice dresses for an evening out.
4. French Connection jacket I've had for over 5 years now. It fits great, but the color is kind of faded... just for comparison. This is the only black blazer I own. I don't wear a ton of black.
5-6. Faux leather bomber from UO. I got this on super sale. I wanted a new outerwear jacket, because my current ones feel tight, and I can't really layer underneath. I already have the one in #7. Do you think 2 are justified or should I go for a different style?
7. My existing faux leather bomber. Too tight and comes unzipped. Can still be worn open.

Your opinions are welcome!

ETA: What do we think of the lapels on the jacket? Will this style stick around? And I added a picture with a dress.
