I Iike it. I like how the collar can work 2 ways. The sleeves look either straight or very slight bell shape and to me are part of the style. For a " roomy" coat, it doesn't look overwhelming and has some structure, so if it layers well over chunky or roomy knits that sounds good.

I think it looks great and vote keep! I didn't see an issue with the sleeves in the first photos, though, so perhaps my eye isn't as discerning. I think the raglan sleeves may be part of the style that makes it roomy enough to wear over big sweaters. It's one of my favorite designs in a coat, so I'm partial to this one. I also like the asymmetrical zipper--again, for a less fitted coat, that's a great design, because it slims down the look while maintaining the roominess. And I love the leather sleeves and wool body. Nice face-framing collar, too. The length is nice for wearing with pants.

The thicker knit and gloves make a world of difference. If that's how you'll usually wear it, I don't think the sleeves are an issue.

Thank you very much for your input! I have added three more photos, with the coat worn over a chunky sweater. There are gloves in the final photo as well. What do we think about the sleeve fit now?

Pree, the quality is good. It is not as stellar as that of J Crew main line coats (the wool is thinner), but I honestly did not expect that at this price point anyway.

So, the sleevs look a bit of. I am going to try it over thicker sweaters and with gloves when I get back home in the evening and post those photos.

Oh, I love the coat on you, Tanya. I can see what others are saying about the sleeves. I wonder how it looks with gloves, which you would probably wear, right? It could have a slight sleeve alteration, also.

I agree that there's something about the sleeve that seems a little off. It could just be that since it's leather it doesn't drape. Is it a tiny bit too wide at the cuff? I love the coat on you. Maybe the leather just needs to break in a little.

I have a nice coat collection, but most of them are tailored or very fitted. With all the oversize knitwear trends this season, I need new coat(s) in more relaxed cuts to wear over them.

Here is a recent purchase I got for a steal, a black cocoon coat with leather sleeves. I do not mind that it is black, I actually quite like it, as my wool coat collection happens to have a lot of colored and patterned items. It fits perfectly over my new cardigans . But I want to keep it only if it is perfect in every manner. Thoughts?
