It is shorter and more fitted. It would be a snug fit if buttoned up. The Small is a bit longer and would fit buttoned up. It is boxier with larger arm holes, but doesn't look intentionally oversized. I think that the small looks best with pants and shorts.<br /> It seems silly to keep both vests. Both are equally comfortable worn open. Another thought is that my first choice of a casual white summer vest would be a white denim (washable) moto-style, and maybe I should hold out for that.
