I don't think I'd want to go any smaller with this type of sweater, and prefer it open rather than closed/belted (I notice that's how they have it styled on the model too). Would not belt it as I think it messes with the nice stripe trim.<br />It is either good fit or smidge big. Right now it has "relaxed "look&nbsp; and I don't think it should be especially close-fitting. My first package came today. I ordered my usual Petite Small, and am currently in the largest size I've worn in two years (a month of celebratory travel and dining in Tokyo and Australia, and no exercise).&nbsp;</p> <p>I know burgundy and navy may not be as on trend now, but I just added a bunch to my wardrobe last year, and am still feeling them. And tossing it on with some burgundy Bella Vita boots (a top pick from a few yers ago), reminded me that I don't need to buy the Born Card buckle boot as I think they would duplicate these.</p> <p>I<b>s this a keep and if so is this the right size?</b> The sleeves are longer than I usually find in a Petite, but look similar to the model. This knit is soft and substantial. I have quite a bit of overlap on the front as shown in 4 and 5. Is that the right amount of drape or too much?</p> <p>PS to CocoLion and those looking at Wit&amp; Wisdom - these are from last year, size 2P and still fit pretty comfortably straight out of the wash with about 5+ lbs weight gain since last year's purchase. So size down if you are still thinking about them. I released the hem since I decided they weren't PPL in the petite.</p> </p>
