I can't do skinny heels at any height, really, although the Tsubos work for me for events where dressy heels are needed. These are really comfortable wearing around the house. As the ankle starts to fold and crease with wear, the shaft gets shorter. I personally don't find them to dwarf you because the color blends well with your legs and the shaft is super fitted. I think the height is borderline as-is, but if I remember correctly that is how mine fit at first, too. Oh, Angie's suggestion to tuck the laces in seems to help the overall look of mine a lot as well.</p> <p>ETA: Here is one of their most recent outings (L) versus the initial K/R (R). It's not a *huge* difference, but the extra little bit was enough with how fitted they are IMO. </p>
