I didn't really like them and never thought I'd buy a pair but the SA in the shoe shop where I was browsing was wearing them with cropped black trousers and a cream and black striped top and they looked so good I tried on a pair and they looked just as good with my jeans. And they'll go with a lot of things in my "new me" wardrobe. I think a lot depends on what you wear them with as to how they come across, i.e. modern, preppy or mature. Are these bordering on frumpy--or too preppy? I'm wondering if I don't have enough edge in my style to make these work. There was another uber comfy loafer by Ann Klein in navy (pic. 5)patent.
