Otherwise the fit is fine. They fit lengthwise from toe to heel, and they stay put and don't flop or slip at the heel. I think they are super cute, but I don't want that to be how I decide. I do think Sam Edelman shoes tend to run a bit narrow, as I seem to have mostly good luck with the brand. </p> <p>So what say you? Is the side gaping too pronounced? Do you have this problem with flats and do you buy them if they fit otherwise? </p>
