I like this even better than the dress you posted! You have an amazing waistline. Anyway, you can always "fake a dress" by wearing a black knit top with this. I think it would be way more versatile for you than the dress, if the choice is between the two, and you wouldn't have to wash it every time you wear it.

I like it with the top tucked in too. A belt would take it up a notch!

I love the skirt! I like the form fitting untucked top with the skirt too. A shorter length on the top would look even better.

It's a nice length on you and very practical for your lifestyle. I would probably wear it with a slightly looser top, something that follows your nice curves but doesn't cling. Personally I love skirts and find them very easy to wear for casual looks. They don't bag out like some jeans do, and they can be dressed up or down as the need arises. Think how cute this will look with a jean jacket and fun scarf for fall.

I like it on you, especially with the top tucked in. You have a waist that should be shown off. Maybe you could add a narrow to medium width belt to #2 or belt over your green top in #1 to see how it looks.

I do not wear skirts so I commend you for broadening your horizons. I like it. In fact, this is just the type of skirt I would buy if I had the guts to try new things. I hope you enjoy it.

Here is my first attempt at a skirt. I tried a full skirt based on some of the body type recommendations.

It is black so it should go with most everything. I think I could pair it with tights and tall boots (both on my shopping list) to get me through fall. I could wear with sandals now.

It's fun and swingy, which is different to wear.

It's cotton and modal, so soft against my skin. And machine washable, which is a huge plus for me with a small child.

Thoughts?.
