I like the top in photo 3 as well. I like the fit of the blazer in photo 6 for your bust and shoulders, but the blazer isn't a curvy enough style to fit you well. I think you'll find something better.

Without reading other comments, I prefer the petite M and much prefer the stripes!

I'm not sure the blazers work for you. I have this same issue with this style of knit blazer...

Thank you so much ladies!

It looks like there is a consensus on the bandage top. I will wait for the MP in teal to pop back in stock and do an exchange. Then I'll try to make myself wear it out the door.

I'm going to return the jacket.

Size #4 would work if I left it open, but I feel I should be able to wear it closed if required (cold outside, etc)

Size #6 is going to require tailoring and I'm not in love enough with the jacket to risk having it ruined by alterations.

Donna hit the nail on the head when she pointed out that the season is still young and this isn't a 10 on me. It's such a beautiful color and well constructed and nice fabric but it just isn't fitting right. If and when I find a colorful blazer that fits like it was meant for me, I would happily pay double or even triple the price.

I like #3 for the bandage top.

Not crazy about any of the blazers. I think this may just not be your style/cut, so unless you really love this blazer, I would return all of them. I personally have given up on this type of boyfriend-style blazer.

I had trouble finding the right fit in the VC tops and jackets as well and sadly had to return all of them (the small was too small and the medium was too big). I think the arms are supposed to be pretty fitted but not tight and uncomfortable. I like the stripe top in medium on you the best and I like the Size 6 jacket.

You have got good input already, Sylvie. I like the medium bandage top. As for the jacket, it would need alteration, but wow, those colours are so lovely!

I like the medium striped top on you.

I think a fundamental flaw in the blazer is the fabrication: It magnifies any fit flaws; they show up as shadows. When I tried it on with shirts underneath instead of the bandage Ts, I got a ton of lumps and bumps in the sleeves. How about you? And it is not like the sleeves felt tight! The color on both is beautiful on you, the machine washability is great, but I am wary that it would look perfect even with alterations. This is a relatively inexpensive jacket, (esp. at the NAS price), and I have found that less expensive tailored jackets tend to be very unforgiving with respect to variations in body shape: If you are not precisely the shape of their model (and who is?!?), it will fit a little wonky somewhere. Are you okay with that?

This jacket is one that is beautiful on the hanger and probably beautiful in motion, but not a *10* when standing still on you or me. If an *8* works for you, esp. considering the price point, go for it. If the fit flaws will nag at you, then pass; the season is still young.

I think I like petite medium on the bandage top, as far as the blazer is concerned, I go by how my blazers look open, since I seldom button them, plus I know that unless they have multiple buttons, they will look as if they are too small, in any size, because my hip will cause the fabric to crease. I would go with the size that looks best open.

I also like the medium striped bandage! Is it not comfortable in the arms?

I also like the 4 best as-is for the jacket (I don't usually alter things, so I'm no use there). Would you have to be able to wear it closed? I hardly ever wear my blazers closed, even when they can do it.

I like #3, color, fit, etc. And the fit in #7 looks good if you got it altered for the waist to nip in. Have you tried more cropped jackets or peplum style to help with the hip fit issue?

I like photos 3, 7 and 8. (Not looking at the sizing info on purpose - just going with my gut!)
I find myself wanting to scrunch the sleeves of the top up to your elbows... but that may just be because sleeves that sit on my forearm bug me.
In 7, it does look as though having the blazer taken in a little at the sides would flatter your waist more, but leave you with enough room in the arms and shoulders.
Hope this is helpful.

I like the medium in the bandage top. What don't you like about it?

On the jacket, I think you need to go with the larger size and have it taken in in the upper back. I don't think that jacket fits you off the rack without alterations.

For the top I like Medium better on you because Small is too tight across your belly and makes it look bigger. I think Large is too big. I also don't see much difference between Petite and Regular but I prefer striped top on you rather than a solid one.
I am not sure about the blazer. Size 4 looks like fitting well in the shoulders but too tight closed and size 6 looks too big in the shoulders. Are you going to wear it closed at all? If not than Size 4 may be better. I hope Angie will chime in on this one with her discerning eye

I've been trying desperately (perhaps too much so) to make the VC bandage top and jacket from NAS work for me. I think I have to call "uncle" on both of them and return everything. But since I already took the photos, I thought I might as well post them for feedback just in case others are interested in sizing differences, or think anything is salvageable.

First up, the bandage top. I would stick with the teal striped one or the red solid color.

1)&2) Petite Small (tight arms/body)
3) Petite Medium
4) Petite Large (definitely too big)
5) Regular Small (doesn't come in petites - sadness)
Regular Medium not shown because it was just wrong.

The blazer

6) Regular 4 (I like the fit on this the best despite the hip pulling)
7) Regular 6'
8) Petite 10 (extra space in torso)

The fundamental fit problem I have with the top is that the arms are too tight when the body is the appropriate size.

The fundamental fit problem I have with the blazer is that the upper body gets loose before I get into a size that fits around my hips.

Any and all feedback appreciated. Thanks for reading and I appreciate your patience with the photo repeats!
