This brand is cut sleeker -- I'm an inverted triangle with narrow hips. May not be as warm as the EB though. Good for moderate Boston winter temps -- I'll bring out the heavier parka for temps below say teens/20s. Also probably not built as well as I find I need to replace every other year. I tried on a XS Reg in &nbsp;the store and it fit pretty well, just a hair long in the sleeves, but I wanted more room to layer under, and I knew the Reg Small would have longer sleeves. The warmest one, the Lodge parka was also nice - a bit sleeker and less sporty, but I really wanted the external chest pocket. This Eddie Bauer Sun Valley parka is rated their second warmest and comes in petite sizes which I need with my short waist and arms. It is currently on sale and looks like they just restocked some sizes and colors.&nbsp;I really like the color (Atlantic - a touch greener blue than my photo shows, vs Navy) and the exterior chest zip pocket which fits my phone. Not crazy about the sleeve pocket, but I can live with it (it is not looking removable).</p> <p>The shoulders/chest fit with room for layering. It passed the car drive test. The waist and hips are a bit large, as I am a size or two smaller in pants than tops. I don't think it is alterable on the side seams without messing up the warmth.</p> <p>Thoughts? Any suggestions for petite sizing, functional but attractive, long puffers that run narrower in the bottom but not the top. </p>
