I tried and loved the Blondos but let them go because the on/off was a struggle. I need a pair of workhorse boots, something I can wear every day in the winter, and these were a just skosh too high-maintenance for me.

FWIW, they look fantastic on you and I think they work with a range of things. I tried my pair on with a midi-wrap dress thought it looked great.

I'm reading all of your responses now and realized there are no photos in my post. I swear I attached them, but I'm slowing losing my mind in my advancing age so who knows!...

I'll try the OTK boots with a few other things (leggings and skirts), and see how they work. I really like that they are waterproof. I shy away from suede as Midwest winters with all the slush and salt destroy most suede shoes and boots.

Viva - Maybe carrying all those shopping bags has built up your biceps...? ;)

I really like the look of these last choices, Banoffi - especially the boots and the sweater. I'm so sad that Vince T-beck did not work for me because I agree -- so soft! But I tried on a Rag & Bone top today and had the same problem with the fit -- it's that seam across the bicep coupled with a snug arm. For me, it's DEATH. I must have really big biceps or something. It's SO uncomfortable!!!! I never considered myself a Popeye, but there you go.

OTK boots don't need to have the skin showing for skirts/dresses, I think you'd be fine with something that covered the top. Can be worn with leggings and also super with skinnies.

I like the sweater! Fellow IT here and that's a shape I enjoy wearing, but then I don't mind highlighting my shoulders. Loooong sleeves are in

I think Fellow Fabber @brooklyn wears the OTK boots with skirts that come pretty close to the top of the boot. Looks good to me!

I think any dress, skirt or skinny-in-the-thigh pant would work.

To me, the OTKs are direct competitors to knee-highs.

Sterling - As Suz said. I had the boots ready to be sent back the first time I tried them on. It took me ages to put them on and take them off and I knew I couldn't deal with it. Cracker told me the trick and it has worked great. I still wish the boots had zippers, but they are manageable now

Sterling, the trick is to fold them down to take on and off.

Banoffi, the sleeves on the top are long on me, too, but since I always scrunch my sleeves I will probably leave them. Still to be decided. I do have a seamstress who could shorten if I need that done.

I'm back from vacation and sorting through my closet. I have a few NAS items that I need to decide whether to keep or return.

Vince Jersey Turtleneck: This feels WONDERFUL --- so soft. I would need to shorten the sleeves as they are very long on me. I'm not sure if this turtleneck works with my body type (IT) with the batwing sleeves and slim arms.

Blondo Eden Over the Knee Boot: I certainly appreciate these more since Crackers told me how to put these on and take them off. I love the fact the are waterproof and that they fit my calves. I just can't figure out what I'd wear them with apart from skinny jeans. If you wear over the knee boots with skirts or dresses do you need have a large gap between the hem and the top of the boot? If so, I can't see myself wearing dresses that short.
