A few comments.</p> <p><b>JenniNZ </b>and<b> Sisi</b>, I think, in this context, "derivative" is a nicer way of saying "cliché." That pattern with that vest looks a bit like a 1970s costume. (I felt what Lisa was saying and wasn't offended by it.) I thought about trying this with my cognac sandals, but I can't quite imagine weather where I'd want long sleeves and open toes. In our arid climate, open-toe season is limited (which is why I only own one pair of sandals) and my feet are cold before anything else. I do agree that some of these looks would be better with tights, though...I just wasn't motivated enough to put them on for a try-on. &nbsp;:) Plus, I'm trying to make peace with my knees, and I live in a seasonally-confused place. Except for one month in summer and another in winter, the weather is pretty much all over the place, often in a single day.</p> <p><b>fashiontern</b>: The sleeves are less a concern for me (I could make either work) than the length of the Sundance dress. As much as I loved that dress, it isn't super-practical for my life.
