This is an issue I always have with this type of side entry pockets and in my experience sizing up doesn't fix it - I think it has more to do with the angle at which ones hip bones flare rather than size per se. One solution is to sew them shut but to be honest it annoys me because I like to use my pockets! In your photos the pocket lining looks darker (?) which emphasizes the gaping. </p> <p>If that doesn't bother you, the rest of the pants look great.
