Which keeps them smooth at the knees. </p> <p>That said, these may shrink. I don't know about Costco brand, but my INC ponte knits shrunk a couple inches. And not just lengthwise, also width-wise. I've been wondering about these! I think they are fine for tucking and to wear with tunics as long as the knees don't get too wrinkly. I have a pair of too short skinny cargos from Target and I wear them only with tall boots--so these kind of pants do have a purpose. That being said, I wish mine were longer so I had the option of wearing flats if I wanted.
