Well, I love the color and the shape on you. And I hear you on "largest size." I get sized out in higher end lines --- when the "large" is a 10/12. Grrrrr.

Fortunately, this color is everywhere right now. I know because I've been buying it like chocolate. I'll let you know if I see a great one!

Is it the armhole of the jacket or just the lining that's too small? If it's the lining a tailor could put a diamond shaped piece of fabric under the arms & up into the sleeve - not a hard fix at all if it is just the lining.

It is fully lined so while the jacket itself has a bit of stretch, the lining doesn't.

I think it is going back. I can wear it with a cami and it is okay, but even a tee shirt is too much.

I tried wearing it as I was doing bills, and it drove me nuts after 10 minutes with the tee shirt underneath it. First time I have ever had an armhole issue. So glad for Angie's recent jacket post as it really helped identify what the issue was.

ooo thats lovely, such a shame about the arms.are the sleeves lined? if so i'd be tempted to take lining out of them, but then you are truely commited to keeping it then.

Oh wow. This feminine and pared- down style jacket, kind of like your black one, is dynamite on you and the color is great. The armhole issue doesn't show, but I know what you mean about how it feels and if it feels tight and bothersome, you won't enjoy it. I have the impression that's not an easy alteration as well, but but I'm not an expert, so you might google about it and see if you find something that encourages you to look into it more. Maybe depends on the seam allowance ? Otherwise chalk it up to experience and that you found a super style to try to duplicate in a better fit.

Sooooo, I think it looks great. I actually like fairly fitted armholes because they slim the arm. (I tend toward big brawny arms, so slimming is always a plus in my mind.)

What is the fabric like? Is there any possibility that it will stretch? When I looked at it online, it looked like it has a bit of spandex in it that might give you a little ease as it warms up. However, I couldn't tell if it was a stretchier, more knitted fabric, or a woven with very little give.

Messing with armholes is a nightmare, so if it doesn't have some stretch and it is just too uncomfortable, then it needs to go back. But I really hope it doesn't because honestly, this looks absolutely incredible on you.

Junior clothes do that to me, too. Same with the H&M ones I've tried. Cobalt is a lovely color on you, but discomfort should be a deal breaker. It will also limit what you can wear underneath, and I doubt that you want to deal with possible pit stains.

I have realyl wanted to add a bit of cobalt to my wardrobe, and I fell in love with this Classics Entier jacket. It has been in on my wishlist for a bit, and when it went on sale, I snapped it up knowing my size would soon be gone.

Here it is, and I love it even more in person.

However. The armholes are too high up. Not sure else how to put it. The fabric is pressing against my armpit. This is uncomfortable, but it pushes upth fabric and gives me some shoulders!

I think it is probably a return as I think trying to tailor armhole placement will be a nightmare, and I don't have a tailor.
