I'm on Team No Hope to Correct Fit with Insoles. I have never been able to get a shoe to fit by fiddling with inserts and pads and such.

sigh. Ok, well I think I'll keep the t-bars because they fit well and I definitely need a pair of nice-fitting shoes for Christmas-y occasions.

I guess the other ones will go back unless anybody can give me hope about an insole.

Dog: Um excuse me, excuse me. I'd like some food now, please.
Me: Listen Nelson, I need to take pictures of myself right now to show the ladies on the internet.
Dog: Ok. I'll just wait right here on top of your foot.

I echo the above. The pumps look good but if they don't fit well now, they likely never will. Also, love the pug, mine enjoys photobombing as well!

Both are pretty dressy, and yes, I'd say the t-bar are dressier than the pumps. I can imagine them with the kind of clothes you're wearing, as long as you keep everything else simple - kind of a 'rich lady who vacations in Ibiza' sort of vibe. But if you're not feeling it...

I like the pumps but I'd say return if they don't fit well because tweaking fit with insoles and such never works that well.

Hello, I just got a couple of shoes in the mail. Should I keep or return one or both?
The woven ones fall off the ends of my feet and I'm wondering if I can correct that problem with some sort of insole. What do you think? The shoe itself is the correct size. The size down is too tight (I know because I tried it on in the store. They didn't have the size up so I ordered I online).

Also, again I ask: Are the t-straps too dressy? They *feel* too dressy but maybe I just need to get used to it. I like the look on other people. Do you ever feel like you can "get used to a look"? Or is my discomfort a sign that these shoes are not my style?

I attached another look from the weekend, to give you an idea of my style. (After taking the pic, I went and pressed the shorts. Yikes, I need to iron more often!)
