The burgundy seems like a near-neutral, while the purple is definitively color. (Also I think the burgundy is fab on you but the purple is beyond fab.) I ordered some things online to try out. Only two have arrived so far, and they are more burgundy than I had wanted. </p> <p>Item 1, photos 1-5 burgundy v neck sweater. I think it is not purple enough to go with my scarf. It is comfortable and soft. </p> <p>Item 2, photos 5-9, Burgundy open front cardigan. Photo 5 shows the two pieces together. The others are dresses or skirts I might wear it with. Photo 8 shows a close up of the cardigan and striped pattern. The color is very close to the darker stripe, but it is the least visible color in the dress from farther away. </p> <p>Photo 10 is the sweater I am replacing. </p> <p>Does this color work or should I keep looking?</p> <p>I have more items coming, but the more purple shade of the v neck was cancelled, out of stock. </p>
