I got my marching orders, but did hang on for just one more minute to the camel pants (the weight of them is gorgeous and they feel so luxurious)

I tried on the Commuters and they did fit nicely for the most part (of course they would since Angie recommended them) but I only got a quick try on and they really scratched me?? It could be some sizing but the inside of the legs are not pleasant on the skin. Is this normal? I found the red ones and some khaki at my store but can order more online.
I still would like to find some silky slouchy pants (what I was attempting with the navy ones) in khaki or navy.

First of all, I think you styled the camel really well with the nude shoe. I also love that top! Sounds like Angie has a particular fit in mind so I would keep those tags on and try the pair she recommends. Pants are just so difficult to get right! The navy ones are just "ok" but I know you can do far better! Love the colorful shoes in pics 3 and 4 though!

I like the camel ones, and I think it will depend on how you style them as to whether it's "too much thigh". The fit looks great.
I'm curious, though, to see the Express ones and compare. (for myself as well: kind of like with the trench coats, I figure that when you find some good ones, I'll buy them, too!)

The navy ones don't do you justice, IMO.

I quite like the fit in the camel, if you *are* looking at cropped pants to begin with. I'm not so sure of the style of the cargoes --- I can't recall seeing you ever dressed so casually as to wear those, but I could be wrong.

I'm going to make a suggestion. Return these. Try the Columnist from Express in a Tall.

I would like them better if they were longer - both, but especially the first pair. You could style them to make the ankle length work, but with the tapered silhouette I don't think it's your best look. The camel is a great color on you though.

I don't think the style of either one is flattering. You need bootcut style pants, I think, for your figure type

Camel pair seem to fit very well, and though they could be a tad longer, their neutral color mitigates the shortness. Unless it's easy for you to find the perfect pair of trousers, you may want to consider keeping them. The second pair--can't tell if it wants to be straight-up pants, capris, or what...plus I don't like the color on you. Too harsh for your fair coloring. One out of two ain't bad!

ETA: What a little cutie pie!

I don't know why, but I like the navy pair, and I'm not so crazy about the camel ones; sorry to add to the confusion, butt there it is

Ummm, what seems to be the problem here? I really like the camel ones. Sure, they're more like ankle length than "regular" length, but with the low contrast and your long legs, you can totally wear these! I'm less thrilled with the navy ones. They're even shorter, I can't make out the fit details, and I'm allergic to drawstring waists. But that's just me. I think you should keep the first ones!

In the neverending pant saga I ordered these:
http://bananarepublic.gap.com/.....cale=en_US
1-2 I ordered a Long thinking they'd be normal length. I really need some khaki/camel pants.

http://bananarepublic.gap.com/.....cale=en_US\
3-4 SIde is ok, but front on is it too much thigh? I want some silky slouchy summer pants in navy. I think they can be unrolled.
http://bananarepublic.gap.com/.....cale=en_US
You do not want to see this photo. Ugh.
Here are the results. I think all are going back unless you can make a case for otherwise. (My assistant agrees I fear)
