So glad you're keeping both. I saw the sequined sweatshirt on the website earlier and loved it! The stripe is amazing, too. It's perfect to have a simple pair of items nice enough that you can add a topper and head out the door when you need to.

I'm feeling a pscyhic link.....lol. I've been about the same task --- replacing my knitwear for my "lounge" and "home-work," wardrobes. Post to come, probably on Monday. I've added one animal print sweatshirt, several lighter pullovers in lovely colors, with fitted shoulders and a relaxed midriff, and 2 great cardis (cobalt and burgundy --- but no taupe!)

I've also updated my lounge / home pants, although I'd still like a good wide leg ponte -- a little bit old Hollywood. I had a pair for 10 years that I actually wore throughout my pregnancy, and they bounced right back. Alas, nothing is forever!

Can you guess what comes next?
Chunky knits for real winter. I have 3. All grey. So sad!
Let me know if you see some that are amazing (and not grey)!

Sveta, I got XS. I was worried that maybe the S would be better in the navy but it is sold out anyway now I think, so that is all moot at this point!

ETA: the fits are much more fluid than their last year's sweaters. At least the fits of these. I have a couple of sweaters of theirs from last year that I am consigning due to lack of fluidity in the fit. Technically they are fine -- just not what I want in my knits now.

Thanks, all! I am cutting the tags.

The striped one looks better IRL, I think. Well, they both look better IRL, to tell the truth! It was so dark when I took those pics. Oy.

Becky, I think these are both great weights for today's weather. I will wear them through the autumn but less in the winter. I don't know if the sale will be in store as well as online. So it might be worth checking that.

Suz, I think these are great! It goes without saying that the fuchsia is perfection on you, and the glittery obe is a fun way to try the fancy sweatshirt trend.

We've been planning a trip to the mall for today, and I'll definitely work in BR now that I've seen these. If you think these are a smart buy as far as weight, etc., right now weather-wise, I'm assuming they would be for me, too!

ETA: DD 4 yrs old has many shirts with what look like this type of sequin (arranged in a less sophisticated manner) and they all seem to do fine in the washer. SO if the dryclean is for the sparkle as opposed to the base material I think you will be fine.

I think they both look nice, that magenta is calling my name! My one concern is that a few dry clean sweaters i have handwashed i have lost some length on (even blocking when wet is subsequent washes didnt seem too do much), making them too short for pants... how is the length on these? Could you afford to lose a bit and still wear with pants?
