I think they look cool and current with your ensemble pictured. How do they feel? Or actually, how do you feel in them? It sounds like you have doubts. I’d try them with more outfits to see if they create the effect you’re after. They do look a bit roomy on the leg. Pay attention to whether the hem of your skirts catches on the top of the boots too — that can be annoying. For couple of years now I wanted to wear more skirts and dresses in winter but didn’t have either a long coat or knee high boots. Last winter I finally found coat and a pair of boots in taupe suede, you can see in finds.
