They both feel fairly comfy, at least as far as you can tell walking around in the house with the elastic thread still between the shoes. The tall pair actually takes a bit of tugging and calf-rearrangement to get zipped up, but once they are on they feel OK, and since the backs are elasticized I'm hoping that means they won't get stretched out by that fact. You couldn't ask for a better fit in the tall boots--they're awesome. I also really like the ankle boots--those fit you really well too. I could see those with black hosiery and skirts. </p> <p>FWIW, I have a pair of suede boots from Target that I've been trying to wear out but they seem to keep going and going. I don't even like them that much anymore. My goodness, you cannot let them get away. The booties are fun, too. I've only had actual leather boots from Target, but they took a beating and are still wearable. The only complaint is that this was before I realized that flat soles hurt my feet, and there is no room for an insole. I've been looking for replacements for a while now, a task made difficult because a) I have big feet, wide calves and long limbs and b) I'm a cheapskate. </p> <p>The impossible may have happened - on two separate trips to two different Targets recently I've found these two pair. They're synthetic, but seem sturdy enough for now. Thoughts? Anyone have any durability experience with Target boots? </p> <p>Short pair 1-3<br /> 2 - wouldn't wear these with a skirt, that's just to show them; 3 - how I'd wear them usually, although these pants are going back because they're too short</p> <p>Long pair 4-5 </p>
