I think the heel is about 1.5 inches. I've worn them all last year and plan to wear them this fall with boyfriend jeans and white jeans. But all of a sudden this fall there are more options than ever before. i found cute lower heeled ones in Aldo yesterday, and may even repeat my Rag &amp; Bone Harlows in taupe (there are tons of knockoff s out there of this style - its; a great walking,chasing, standing boot) . I've tried for several years and have come up empty handed. They have to meet the following criteria (in my mind):</p> <p>-&nbsp;stable enough&nbsp;to walk in while carrying/chasing kids<br />- close to my skin tone<br />- medium-height&nbsp;stacked heel<br />- not crazy expensive since this is a new style for me and I'm not sure how much I'll wear it</p> <p>I have been eyeing the Joie Dalton, but it has both a very high heel and a very&nbsp;high price tag. I did just buy the "splendid Roland", which I got for a very good price.</p> <p>Is the fit at the ankle of the Rolands&nbsp;close enough? &nbsp;I have pretty small ankle and these swallow them up a bit, but I have yet to find a pair that doesn't... </p>
