Ana, you're right about where the extra fabric is - it's not very flattering ...</p> <p>Jjsloane - the stripe knit is beautiful thick, soft fabric (great for what we optimistically call spring in the UK!) but it needs something over it, really, to make an oufit, I agree. I had a whole conversation in my head about the smaller size would be fine if they were going to stretch, but not if they didn't, and I could get the others altered .... etc LOL </p> <p>Looking at my own pictures, I think I could do better - well I can try! If so you might be ok with the smaller size. In the picture the ones you are wearing look a teeny-tiny bit big through the hips but very nice down through the leg and thigh. Would it be worth having a small alteration at the hip? Sometimes I think we are better off having a little tailoring done rather than running all around looking for the absolutely perfect garment. I like the striped sweater on you very much and I think the blue trim on it is a real designer detail. I ordered two sizes, these are the bigger size but I think they are a bit too roomy around the hip(the size down fitted, but was very close fitting!). I like the fact that the front pocket linings are a sort of beige-y shade that doesn't show through. Thoughts?</p> <p>The top in #1 and #2 is navy and white striped, with a sort of sky blue trim at the neck. Lovely quality, but I am wary of stripes on me (I think a wider stripe would look better - I'm quite busty) what are your thoughts?</p> <p>3 and 4 - gorgeous scarf, which I am keeping!</p> <p>I would love your honest opinions. </p>
