Makes me think a size up would be too much, but it doesn't hurt to try since sizing can be so irregular. </p> <p>From the front, the coat isn't so flattering belted. Not awful, not great. Have you tried it unbelted? Plenty of trenches aren't belted. Don't know if the straighter line would be more skimming and flattering. </p> <p>Re the belt size, try a long scarf, another belt, piece of rope, something--just to see if loosely belting this coat to a more comfortable level changes the way it looks to you. </p> <p>I agree that single breasted styles might be easier for you but I don't blame you for trying to make this work if you can. Make me look too busty? Is it because the belt is under my bustline? Why is it so much cuter on the model? (although I prefer the color IRL)&nbsp;I would never wear it all buttoned up, but would like to wear closed and belted if weather requires it.&nbsp;<br />Should I return and keep looking?<br />Should I try next size up?<br />I am too emotionally in love with this to be objective. YLF don't sugar coat it please.&nbsp; </p>
