I like the grey in medium. The sizes don't appear much different, so I'd definitely go by comfort. As mentioned above, the M probably won't get as stretched out, so it will be in better shape for alterations later if necessary. I think I may need to order one up, too!

Definitely the grey! I'd say S because with your beautiful 3rd trimester belly, size small and medium look the same! BUT, small will fit you better post partum and as stretch is not a problem, better get something you'll get more use of! Also personally, I don't find non tapered looseish pencil skirts quite as flattering as the fitted type especially in midi lengths!

I love this skirt. I had my eye on it, too, but I haven't bought because really, I have no need for another skirt and it would probably become an orphan.

I like both colours. In fact, I can't choose! I would say, take a look at the tops you plan to pair with it and see which one works best with the clothes you have.

For the size, I think you'll have to judge by how you feel. I would tend to go for the medium, which probably won't stretch as much and which you could always have taken in, if necessary, after the babe is born.

Hahaha Natalie! You see? You and I have the same style filter. I bought this one in grey and black. It went out for her maiden voyage yesterday, LOL.

I like the gray but the taupe is nice too, so I'm splitting hairs. I went for a roomier fit because the fabric is flimsy. I don't want it to stretch too much and reveal the silhouette of my legs under certain lighting, since I don't want to wear a slip. I bought medium.

I like medium on you now but do you think the M would be too big after preggers? You really did not put much weight other than that cute little belly but I thought I'd ask.

I just saw you asked me a couple questions on my bubble necklace thread. The JCrew peacoat came, at the sale price, THANK YOU, and I love it. It has not made it out of the house yet. I am having trouble styling it so it feels like me. I think it is because it is much more cropped than my average coat.

Here is the weird one, the J crew bubble necklace came with one stone detached. So weird! Is that a quality control issue? I expected for it to feel like the white KS we both have but this one is so flimsy. I'm going to JCrew today to see if I can exchange. I just feel funny having a fake anything.

I vote for the taupe and black, as I think you like warmer colors better?? And I agree you should get the medium since it will have less to stretch in these last few months. If it fits after delivery, all the better.

I prefer the taupe/black and would probably go with the medium, and I agree with lyn about the fit and stretch.

Yes Lyn, the mediums definitely are less restrictive--the smalls feel more like a "wiggle" skirt around the knees but I can still walk in them. They're so stretchy that I could wear either, but I see your point that the mediums might stretch less.

I am planning to keep only one color--I just wasn't sure if the higher or lower contrast looked better.

Oooh; I love the mediums in both - they look more comfy (do they feel more comfy?). I also like the grey more than the taupe, if that is part of your deciding factor too.

I am not sure if you will be able to wear them after your belly is gone in the future if it gets stretched out too much - maybe the medium will have less to stretch vs. the small?

Hi all!
I was wondering if I could get your help picking a new polka dot midi skirt.
It's the Bobeau Dot Midi Skirt from Nordstrom (looks like it's now on sale for $35, so I need to go get a price adjustment!):
http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/bo.....sultback=0

It comes in two different colors. I am not sure which color looks better on me, and which size, S or M. I'm mostly planning on using this as a pencil skirt for 3rd trimester, but I'd like to keep wearing it postpartum if possible as well. So I'm not sure whether I should go for the small, which is a little more body-con but will probably fit me better postpartum, or the M which is a little roomier (I still have 2.5 months to go) but might be too baggy once the belly is gone. The whole skirt is stretchy, including the waist, so I am hoping I will be able to use it both now and later. Since it's stretchy, both are comfy but the small is a little tighter and more tapered around the knees. (I am planning to wear it mostly hidden under sweaters like in the first pics--I know it looks funny uncovered with the huge belly, but I just wanted to show you the fit better).

What do you think? Vote for your favorite! Thanks!

1-3. S in grey/black
4-6. M in grey/black
7-9. S in taupe/black
10-13. M in taupe/black
