I just realized that the picture numbering is messed up, or two of them didn't upload. So my text is a little off. Not sure what happened there...

I've decided that the Penney's blazer is going back. It was a good deal (20 bucks!) but I've got too many blazers and I just couldn't come up with multiple occasions that I could wear it, unlike my more casual fabrications. I've already sent one of the other jackets, the one where the pictures didn't show up, to Twice to resell. I think I'm happy with the rest.

9/10 I really love because I love the print. I'm going to try wearing it as outerwear since it is a little roomy now and see how that works. (Here in NorCal 3/4 sleeve coats are manageable, at least some of the year!)

Your black dress makes a perfect background for your black and white jackets. 1/2 does look corporate, but I like #1 best of all ( left open) if it is your style. The Target striped jacket looks young and modern. The snow leopard print is fun and interesting. I can't see 11/12, but I vote donate 7/8. It looks too old for you. 9/10 is borderline to me. How does it make you feel?

Agree with lyn*--3/4 is a really fab cut on you. It is structured but feminine and maybe a better style than 1/2. It is great for your figure and a good length for dresses.

1/2 is not bad at all but does have that corporate look--if the jacket feels great but you feel too strict in it, you might be able to style against type, wear it over more flowy things, and get a different look. Not as much a fan of the mandarin collar jacket--agree it looks a bit boxy with large sleeves.
the sweatery one i can see as being comfortable and easy to wear--do you wear it with pants? It could be a better pant length than for dresses, either with black dress pants or try styling with jeans--hence why I like 3/4 with your dress.

I think your new purchase is different enough from the other black/white blazers that you may get some use of it - I really like my one-button styles. I've noticed that you usually go for a multiple button style (as seen in the other toppers).

None of these make me want to scream for you to get rid of them - 3/4 I think is my favourite, worn open.

Hi, my name is Laura, and I have a black and white print jacket problem. I was assessing the jacket I picked up at JC Penney this weekend and realized that I've got a ton of jackets and blazers in black and white prints and patterns, probably too many. So I took pics of all of them while I was at it. I would love to know if any of them make you scream "no, get rid of them".

1/2 - here's the new jacket, unbuttoned and buttoned. I like it a lot but I'm worried a little that it reads too corporate for me to find a lot of use for it.
3/4 - this is a snow leopard print one in knit that I recently thrifted because I am ridiculous and it felt so nice and cozy when I put it on.
5/6 - stripey sweatshirt fabric from Target, which I don't wear as much as I thought I would, maybe because I try to wear tops with some interest to them and then with the stripes it's all too much
7/8 - in the pics this might look gray but it's really a small black and white dot print. This is the one that feels least like me, maybe because of the safari detailing?
9/10 - this was recently purchased and is a sweater knit. I wore it a ton on the holiday trip back to the midwest; it's very toasty.
11/12 - this is the one that's probably most out of style right now, with the swing silhouette and the 60s mod thing. It's also a little big now. Maybe I should use it as outerwear only?

Thanks as always for feedback. (Yay/nay is for keeping/returning 1/2.)
