Thanks Angie! I am bad at judging fit so I'm glad that it passes muster with you. I was disappointed with the fabric handfeel of the Wit & Wisdom polka dot burgundy jeggings from NAS (although your fit advice was spot-on), so apparently AG has spoiled me for more affordable options, hah.

My thumbs are up if you can wear them in enough ways to satisfy the expense. Very fab!

(I have 9 year old AG's that are still going strong).

I have another pair of AG "legging" jeans and they are seriously the softest jeans ever. So the comfort will be there... it's a question of styling and fit. Are the slouchiness/wrinkles OK?

Here are two super-quick styling photos. I was too lazy to change my t-shirt, but I have lots of blues and purples in my wardrobe. #1 is indigo-blue suede booties and a blue-print scarf to unify the different blues of my shoes and shirt. #2 is brown boots (does it work with these shoes? I live in boots during the cooler months, so it really needs to) and a polka dot chambray button-down. #3 is a close-up of the polka dot print mixing.

My friends swear by AGs. "Magic pants." I have some colored pairs I'm going to wear myself, but not in patterns (as soon as it dips below 90s in Austin aaaaaarrrgh I can't wait) . Don't know if that opinion makes a difference to you or not. I am a big believer in hand feel, and the AG sensation is really tops IMO.

I do think these are very cute. I don't know if they will date, but I'd imagine that is more likely than a plain pair would. I think the real question is, do you love them so much you'd wear them a lot? Then go for it.

I'm not 100% sold on these. Perhaps need to see them styled to get off the fence, especially since they are a big investment and need to be uber versatile.

I've been eyeing these polka dot skinnies from Anthro since the first batch sold out... they were subsequently restocked and apparently much less popular, because they made it to promo and then sale. I originally wanted the gray color for versatility, but it was very unflattering on my thighs, so I'm trying the coral.

The price is still splurge-level for me and I'm eyeing other pants (like these, although they won't be AG-super-soft), so these pants need to be flattering, versatile, and wearable beyond the current patterned-pants trend. I do love color and print, so I'm not afraid to mix these up, but I don't want to look dated in two years, either. And I'm not sure about the fit?

Enough rambling, on to the pictures! I apologize for the horrifying mess in the background.
