I appreciate your honesty Kiwichik! I actually have about 30 days to think about this purchase, so will let it sink in. Looking at how other blazers look at the back was comforting, because I think I actually have a wider back than I imagined. I will try it with skinnies, dressier pants and pencil to see if that works. The colour is fun and I like the cut too. I don't mind shortening the sleeves

Sorry I'm not a fan it still seems too big and the length seems a bit overwhelming on you on the plus side I like the colour on you.

Thank you Cinnamon F, CocoLion, Meredith, Deborah and Rae!

I think the style is somewhat unfamiliar for me, so I just have to get used to it. I love the colour and I can actually move all right in it. It is also good to e reminded of photography's limitations in this context, namely lack of movement that will affect how the back is perceived.

I will have some pic's taken of my back when wearing other blazers and compare. I have actually never done that before, so could be enlightening anyway. If I feel comfortable when comparing the back pic's I will keep it

Harmonica I adore this jacket! This size looks good on you. I do think think it looks a tiny bit big at the back across the shoulders, but we are looking at a still shot and I suspect in movement this might not be an issue. I love the style of this jacket and the color is gorgeous. You really need to love it and feel great in it though, of you don't, keep looking.

Well, the color is great and I like the cut on you in the pic. The sleeves DO need to be taken up and the back seems ok. All in all, if you like it enough to alter it, great! If you don't, I would look for a jacket in that same color, which is lovely on you, and maybe even a petite.

I like it on you and see no issues with the length. All you need is to have the arms shortened. I thought the size L looked fine, too, just a little looser for a different look. The color is great!

I agree that the fits still seems off - maybe another jacket in this color? It really is fantastic on you. But I think this much hesitation about fit means it's not quite right.

Thanks Vildy!

I had to take a look at the Zara pics again and when looking at the front pic, the pockets seem to hit about bellybutton level and that is higher than how it looks on me. And I am still not sure about the fit in the back. *Hesitation*

Jonsey & Scarlet: it is a bit snug in the upper arms, but not *that* tight. I have other blazers that are similar and they don't bother me, so if it looks ok, I'm fine with it.

DonnaF: You mention the shoulder blade fit and that is actually what I was hitting at. To my eye it seems a bit large as you say. About the pockets - so great to have other eyes helping out because I hadn't noticed that. Do they make my hips look wider? I think you might be onto something that this jacket may fit better on a taller person (I'm petite, 157cm / about 5 feet 3 inch)

Let's hear what others say

I like the fit of the shoulders and bust in front; very nice. The shoulders in back look a tad too big to my eye and the shoulder blade fit seems too big -- but maybe you need it for movement? How do you feel about the pocket placement? They seem to hit in a place for a taller person, but I'm not really sure how this jacket is supposed to fit.

I feel like this is the right size as long as you feel comfortable in it. (You mentioned your arms in the other thread.) Maybe there is a touch of extra fabric in the back, but not much. I think a blazer is one of those things where the cut varies dramatically with price point, so given the fab color and style of this one at a Zara price point, I would declare victory.

I like the fit through the back and the front looks nice, but the upper arms look too tight, and I know you said that you felt like you had limited mobility because of that! That would be a deal breaker for me, but how do you feel? Is there any stretch at all to the fabric?

So, here is another try. I am still not 110% convinced, so please be honest. I will not keep it if it is not YLF approved, after all, I don't really *need* it. The sleeves must be hemmed, but that is ok (if I jeep it). But is it still a bit large in the back between the shoulders?

This is size M, one size down from the first one http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....ard-blazer

I can't get into size S, so this is my last try.

Not styled at all! and will most likely not wear it with this skirt at all
