The first dress either needs a little altering or maybe (since it sounds like you are handy with a sewing machine) you could separate the two into a blouse and skirt. I've always heard this is one of the hardest alterations, but I'll defer to the experts on that.</p> <p>The dress in #4 is a little "meh" for me, but I get why you need something like this. I think the dress would look better unbelted and shortened. I would "harness" it with a cropped cardi. I like the belt a whole lot. </p> <p>I'd have to see the boots under pants to give you my opinion. I love them! I don't think it's obvious that the dot dress is too big; sometimes dresses with matching belts are supposed to look cinched in, IMO. I have a few that are probably too big but look just fine belted. I think it looks great on you - keep it.</p> <p>I don't see RM when I imagine the boots under jeans.
