LOVE your username by the way :)</p> <p>Your husband is crazy!! That dress is totally a keeper. The pattern is great and the colours are very very flattering on you. They really complement your warm (I think it is warm) skin tone. The only objection I think he could have is that the shoulder straps maybe aren't ideal, though I think the neckline is also very nice. Unless, of course, he is the type of husband who prefers everything to be form fitting and body conscious... I know mine certainly is! </p> <p>I think I am in the minority here, but I like the tribal sweater on you more than the pointelle cardi. The tribal one is very on trend right now, and I like the colours there, too. The way the pattern falls (those two green stripes) gives you a strong shoulder line which I think looks really cool given the long kind of flow-y nature of the piece. Shiny is right, though, it totally looks like the Big Lebowski. Then again, Jeff Bridges is way cool in that movie. I mean, they don't call him "The Dude" for nothing!</p> <p>On the other hand, while I think the cream cardigan is very pretty, as my grandmother would say, "it doesn't do anything for you." Don't get me wrong, please! It certainly isn't unflattering in any way, shape or form. You must have an eye for colour, because this one too looks great on you. I really want one (or two or three) cardis with textural interest but the lacy look of the pointelle is just feeling too fussy and too sweetly romantic and girly to me. Pretty sure all I have are black Ts, white Ts, and possibly a chambray button-down.</p> <p>DonnaF, DH didn't like any of the stuff I got from UO, particularly, except for a pair of black skinnies--the best he could muster was "It's OK" and that was clearly only because he could tell I wanted him to approve. He would like me to dress in form-fitting black with a steampunk/cyberpunk twist 24/7! Most of the time I wear things he likes but I don't mind doing my own thing too. I really like the dress but I've liked things in the past that were objectively really bad on me. Funny, my sister has it too and her partner also hates it. Maybe it's just a man repeller.</p> <p>Fun and different is my goal with the tribal cardi. DH HATES it. Looking at pics I'm wondering if he's correct. K/T? If K I'd wear it with skinnies or leggings, tall boots and a heavier sweater in the fall/winter. No problems T though.</p> <p>I picked up 2 open cardis at UO and am not sure if they're keepers. I loved both when tried on but in pics I feel like they're just "meh". K/R? I showed the pointelle cardi with a bunch of items; the long tribal one I'd wear with layering tops and tall boots. Again, no problems R if I should; I have 2 other things to take back anyway. </p>
