I actually prefer then with the flat shoes; they're a casual pant, and the flat shoes give a luxe pooling but I know I am in a huge minority in liking that type of look. That said, a wedge is a great option, especially if it's a casual one. I would advise to make sure that the hems of the pants are on or juuuust above the ground though.</p> <p>Re the vest, I think it looks fine. Do you want it mostly for pants or skirts/dresses? I wonder if perhaps you'd be more into a cropped white one for skirts/dresses, and a second reaaalllyyyy faded denim that's this length for pants. I love that forum members are both kind and yet give good input. I think its time to send the vest along to someone who can use it--just&nbsp;not me. </p> <p>Rabbit, I also love the print as it contains black, white and grey. I have those colors in&nbsp;tees and&nbsp;sleeveless silky high-low tops to provide some variety. I can also hike the pants up or down a bit on my waist to wear wedges (good call, Rabbit)&nbsp;or flats; the elastic waistband is snug but not uncomfortably so, and seems to stay put wherever I place it.&nbsp;I'm open to what others think about the silhouette. I personally like it, but am looking for something relatively on-trend for this noticeable of an item. Tags are still on and I am on the fence. I intended to get upscale track pants but these seem more versatile for my lifestyle and are machine washable! Most MOTGs in my area are styling these type of pants with straw fedoras and aviators. I am not big on hats but would go with any bold sunglasses and a bold lip with a clutch and either wedges or flat leather sandals. This would add variety to my hot weather wardrobe by providing a different silhouette as well as an alternative to maxis for sun coverage. Should I keep this item?</p> <p>I am also on the fence about the white denim vest in #3. I have yet to wear it out of the house.
