I would try them on and see. I have several pairs of boots that work with this type of style in cold weather because the shaft comes up high enough. I wasn't expecting such universal like for the tunic. All I see is my hips when I wear it. I've been experimenting with non-waist defining items for a couple of years, but I think this one is further along that spectrum. I'm going to try it on again before I decide. I'm not sure I can actually size down in the jackets. Any smaller and I don't think the Halogen would fit in the shoulders (this one might be a tad tight at the shoulders-- I don't think that showed in the photo, but it feels tight when I lift my arms up above my head). And the Caslon is sold out. But I agree with others who have said I don't need both and the Halogen is more flattering from the rear view which I did not share here! I may post some outfits with the Halogen (with photos taken in better lighting) to see if that helps. Elle makes a good point about climate for the Kick Flare pants. They will certainly not work here in winter, so that's something I will consider. The kick flares are exactly how they're supposed to be, but you might not be ready for the silhouette (I know I'm not!). You look great in that denim shirt. All the pants look good. I also like the reddish/raspberry blouse. Very pretty. I don't love the silhouette with the tube/pencil skirt though. If you have to take stuff back, I would take back the lounging stuff because that's easy enough to find at other times of the year. I don't normally wear petite sizes, but tried this jacket in petite, and it fit me MUCH MUCH better in the shoulder area. I'll post comparison photos soon. I question why you need them both. I have already sent back some definite no's but there are some items I'm undecided on. (Please forgive photo quality, wet hair, etc!) Halogen Kick Flares- (Photos 1 and 4): I'm just not sure. I'm not that excited but maybe because I'm new to the silhouette? Pleione Asymetric Tunic- (Photos 2 and 3): Think I will send this back.  Halogen Cascade Front Jacket- (Photo 4): I think I like this. The shoulders are a bit funny and the way it hangs can feel a little odd when I move around but otherwise I do like it. Caslon Open Front Knit Blazer- (Photo 5): Maybe? Yummy Fleece- (Photo 6): I don't love it but it would be comfortable for lounging at home. Wit and Wisdom Bootcut Jeans (Photos 5, 6, 7, 9): The only item I feel sure about. I want to keep these. I don't have any bootcuts and I feel good in these. Caslon Denim Shirt (Photo 8 and 9):  Not sure. It hangs funny when I half tuck but I kind of like it.  Caslon Long Sleeve Tee (Photo 7): Probably will keep.
