First off, it's definitely the charcoal. It's not as dark IRL as it looks in the pictures. It's definitely dark grey and it has these lighter flecks, as Laurinda mentioned. It's much more flattering than plain black. And It would definitely go with everything! Maybe the problem was that I paired it with the light green to take the pictures, the contrast is quite high. But I thought you could see the fit better that way. I'll go try it on now with some different layers underneath to see if a lower contrast might help. </p> <p>I'm thinking I'll keep it. My charcoal V-neck in real life&nbsp;looks like a nice neutral dark with lighter flecks,&nbsp;without the harshness of black (and I am not a fan of solid&nbsp;black). It's kind of a granddad look. It's <a href="http://www.woolovers.com/lambswool/womens-mens/lambswool-v-neck-cardigan.aspx" rel="nofollow">this one</a> in charcoal grey. I'm not sure about it. First the fit (although it would probably still shrink a bit, same as the pullover did), then the color. I thought the charcoal would be a good neutral, but it is rather dark. They do have the cardigan in the same lovely green as my new pullover, maybe that would have been better. Although that one had brown buttons... </p> <p>What do you think? Should I keep or return?
