I really like wearing my bright coral coat--the brightest light in my closet full of dark, neutral coats. I think the style is good, too--a current casual silhouette with the oversized fit, straight shape and dropped shoulders. The oversized hood is good for balancing out the width at the shoulder line, too. I don't see it as a frumpy length, but what do I know about that? <br />I like your idea of reserving final judgment for a little bit, since you don't need to wear it yet. We popped into Zara and saw lots of great stuff. However, I am trying to be very, very mindful about my purchases, so maintained that I wasn't going to buy a thing. Then we hit the second level and this bright orange coat called my name. Well, it followed me home, and in the spirit of being mindful I am posting a K/R. It feels wonderfully oversized, and has a nice nubbly texture. I'm a sucker for orange, but only ever buy coats in black, or grey. Over the past couple of years I've scorned hooded jackets because I find I look too "mom-ish" in them (which isn't a bad thing - but I've been doing the SAHM thing for years).&nbsp;</p> <p>I'm not sure how it photographs. Wonder if perhaps the length is too frumpy? What do you think about the colour. I had Angie's post ringing in my ear regarding Brights &amp; a Wildcard.&nbsp;</p> <p>Zara turns over quickly so I thought I'd nab it and contemplate from home. I can't find it on the website, so no Find posted.</p> <p>I'd really appreciate your honesty. Fashion forward or frumpy mom? I'm only keeping it if it's close to a 10. Otherwise no problems taking it back. </p>
