I ordered the black cardi in the next size up, but the #2 is as large as they go on the sweater (#3 was the smaller of the 2) so they will go back as well as the peplum.

Thistle, I agree that the peplum should go back. The striped one from before is THE peplum for you. I also want to suggest going up a size in the other styles.

The peplum is going back for sure. Amazing what a difference the fabric makes!

This is what I suspected re sizing up in he peplum:( Thistle did you decide to keep the striped version? I think the black one is a no go. #3 is the better fit in the teal sweater, lovely colour for you and I like that zip detail. The cardigan looks good and I think you avert the frump factor with the right accessories:)

And I agree with rhubarbgirl - #2. The sweater looks nice but I would jazz it up with lighter pants, print top, scarf, etc.

OK, I'm gonna be a pain and say I like 2 better than 3 - the shoulders are better in 3 but I think it's too tight at the bust. I agree with Atlantia about the peplum, I think the seam hits you in a weird place proportionally.

The peplum isn't really doing you justice. I know it is tough to photograph black, but #1 actually reads frumpier to me than #4. I love the color of the teal sweater with the zipper, and I think the fit in #3 appears better.

The peplum isn't great. The teal sweater in #3 is pretty. Nice color for you.

I agree that #3 looks better. I love the color and the zipper and baby do you have beautiful curves! As for the black it is hard to photograph, but if you don't feel right about it you need to trust your instincts. I agree with JR about wearing contrasting colors and I think the size looks fine.

#3 seems to fit better than #2, which seems to have a gap at the bottom of the neckline. Try the cardigan in a brighter colour to beat the frump factor. Or wear the brown one with camel pants and top, to make the contrast pop a bit.

Thought I would run these by the lovely ladies of YLF and get some feedback! DH is never any help. His response is always "I like it if you do". Grrr.

#1 - This is the black Bobeau peplum top in the next size up. It gaps at the neckline, which is hard to see in the picture. Black is just so hard to photograph. The material of the top just doesn't seem to work for me.

#2 - #3 Halogen Sweater. This is the same sweater in both pics, but two different sizes (the peplum top made me try both!). I think the color is flattering, and I like the leather zipper detail. The fabric is not itchy. Thoughts on fit? If it is a keeper, does one look better than the other?

#4 Nic & Zoe cardigan. It is a cardigan, so I have some concerns over frump factor. Should I size up on it? (I should have learned on the peplum top with this one!)

As always, I aprpeciate your feedback!
