I am not sure about the slouchy pants since I have been avoiding trying them, but that dress is absolutely gorgeous on you and you look very glamorous in that last photo!

Jyoti, first of all, I hardly think you're late to the slouchy trousers party! I am no expert on the fit, but did you try on the largest size that didn't look sloppy? I think the fitting trick is to do that, which of course is the opposite thing we do when fitting skinny jeans. It's hard to change our ways! Even though this pair doesn't look *tight*, I think a larger size would give you a more deliberate slouchy vibe, so that there's no question that the fit is intentional. We'll have to see what Angie says.

You look really, really good in that maxi dress! Few people can pull them off with such exotic glamour and drama! I love the gold sandals and the arm load of bracelets. Your long hair is gorgeous, and another key to really pulling off this look, IMO. And you got it for such a deal! Great job!

I agree with Cocolion. I see the V too. This happens usually when you are trying to make a lower rise fit like a high rise. Maybe if you untied the waistband a little. Other than this I find they fit you well, and look good with tucked and untucked tops.

Your two WIWs are stylish and you have a unique and very cool look.

As for the pants, can you wear them a little lower on your waist? If I turn my monitor way up in brightness, I can make out the folds and there is a V fold coming up from the crotch. I think the crotch seam of slouchy trousers are supposed to be a few inches lower than regular pants, or am I imagining this?

Being dark your fit of the slouchy trousers is quite not visible to my eye. So maybe you could post some clear WIW so that we could give some help to you. I can't see the slouchiness of that slouchy trousers. It looks like some baggy pants.
That dress is looking lovely on you.

So once I bought a pair of slouchy trousers on super sale. Then my boyfriend didn't like them, so I returned them. Since then, I have been wanting the perfect pair!

I find slouchy trousers difficult to fit correctly, always being too tight or too loose. I know I'm a bit late to the slouchy trouser party, but I also know that a lot of YLFers have a pair! Please impart your wisdom and let me know what you think!

I also included two WIWs, since I've been so lazy in posting lately! The striped shirt photo quality is terrible, as I couldn't get a straight shot from where I usually shoot, so I just took a photo in the mirror, and there's a horrendous reflection. The maxi dress photo's ok though! The dress was a whole 4.5 dollars, and I am really pleased with myself that I was able to snag it at that price. xD
