Strangely, my very narrow foot-ed daughter got some of the same style&nbsp;metallic slip-ons and has had no problems with them.</p> <p>Don't love the wedges, they look fine, the style is&nbsp;just not for me.</p> <p>I actually think you look really cute in the Brooks. I have low volume feet and I very often have the overly long laces problem with sneakers.To conceal the adjustment,&nbsp;you can measure how much lace you need to lose, then fold the lace in half, measure half of what you want to lose from the center fold, and knot the lace there. The Vans are my favorites for a summer look. And I really like the wedges for their edgy look; I have no idea if they're in style or not, but they look super cool on you. And I like the height they give you. I may be projecting, though: I have bought a few pairs of flat shoes lately and another couple of wedges and platforms, and I find after a day or two of flat shoes, I really want to wear something with a little height. This style still looks fresh to me but I don't know if fashion has moved on. I would consider some type of low- profile black trainer with black ankle pants or trousers too. </p>
